The warranty card reads: you play, we repair, with love. It is the shortest way to explain Suono, a flute shop in Padua since 1983. The logo came from there. And so does every campaign: back to school, black friday, Christmas. The same voice, in different seasons.
The starting point
Where was Suono starting from?
A long-established, highly specialised shop: sales, a repair workshop, handmade wooden headjoints. A craft you can feel in person and lose online. And a retail calendar that asks for new material every year.
You play. We repair. With love. From the back of the Suono warranty card
How do you design the logo of a shop that repairs things?
No staves, no notes. A single letter, drawn the way a key is drawn.
Condensed lettering for the full name and an S as the symbol, with three small diamonds lined up beneath it. The system covers the horizontal version, the full square one, the extended one and the reduced one, positive and reversed: from the shop sign to the sticker on a case.

Where do you put care in writing?
On the piece of paper that stays inside the case for years. That is where we put the most important line.
The warranty card has a front to fill in by hand — brand, serial number, model, date of the first free service — and a back that serves no purpose except saying who you are. That is where the tagline runs, repeated around the symbol.

How do you run promotions without stopping being yourself?
Big headline, instrument up front, one thing to understand. The calendar does the rest.
Black Friday, back to school, Christmas, abandoned baskets. Four moments that come round every year and need new material each time, in the same three formats: post, story, banner.
For each campaign we work on parallel options — three formats, three routes — so the choice is made by looking, not by describing. For Black Friday 2024 we added a video as well.

When does an initiative deserve a logo of its own?
When it stops being a promotion and becomes an appointment.
On 14 October 2024 we brought two proposals, each with its own variations, already tested on real objects. The chosen mark plays on a joint: the U and the P lock together like two parts of an instrument being assembled. Then the microfibre cleaning cloths, nine gradient proposals.

How does a specialist shop get found, by Google and by an AI assistant?
An online shop is not found because it looks good. It is found because its pages answer a question and its data can be read by a machine.
In February 2025 we exported and normalised the whole Suono catalogue: products, brands, categories and a full map of the site’s pages, in JSON and CSV. It is the work nobody sees, and the ground floor of everything that comes after.
On suonoflauti.it every product page carries the structured data that search engines and AI assistants read — product, brand, availability — and one canonical address, because the same flute lives in several categories. Next to the product pages sit the pages that answer the real questions: seven guides (how to choose your first student flute, the best flute for children, how to clean and dry the instrument) and the pages for people looking for a brand, a guaranteed second-hand instrument, sheet music or the Italian teachers’ card.
On top of that run the seasonal campaigns, on the site and on social media. The same pages carry the tracking — analytics, Google Ads, Meta — so every campaign lands on a shop that can measure.
